Festival (2005) August in Edinburgh sees the population of the grand, historic Scottish capital swell with actors, directors, street performers, comedians, media high flyers and audiences. And so the lives of a dozen people intersect in a blackly comic account of the hopes, dreams and fears attendant at festival time. From the cut-throat comedy world of the Fringe to the impassioned artistry of avant garde theatre, with all points covered in-between, this ensemble tale captures a peculiarly personal image of Edinburgh at a unique time of year. A comedy that highlights there is often more drama in surviving the festival than there ever hopes to be in the actual shows... Haven't watched this one in a while, may have to dig it out of my DVD collection a give it a proper review. (It is a fantastic film) Have you seen festival? What do you think? If you are interested in buying it you can get it a play.com for £3.99!! What a bargain! www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/718771/Festival/Product.html#
